Carlos G. Beato, RN, MS, LNHA- President and C.E.O. and founder
of Accreditation Plus, LLC has extensive background ranging from acute
care to long term care in both the profit and non-profit sectors. In
1994 he served as the President of one of the largest long-term care
pharmacy providers in the State of New Jersey. As a Registered
Professional Nurse for over 25 years, he has held positions as an
orderly, staff nurse, head nurse, nursing supervisor, Director of Nurses
and Corporate Director of Nurses. In addition to domestic exposure, Mr.
Beato’s accomplishments also dealt with international recruitment and
clinical research in the Far East and in South America. Mr. Beato has
held positions as a long term care Nursing Home Administrator in various
organizations. For ten years (1994-2004) Mr. Beato worked for the Joint
Commission on Accreditation of Healthcare Organizations (JCAHO) as an
intermittent surveyor specializing in long term care, sub acute
services, home care, ambulatory care, hospitals and home care. Mr.Beato
also worked for the international arm of JCAHO and has consulted,
educated staff and accredited organizations in Spain. Mr. Beato has been
a State and National keynote speaker for numerous organizations on
topics related to Joint Commission Accreditation as well as Human
Resource Management. Appointed in New Jersey by the Governor, he served
on the Long Term Care Administrators Licensing Board in Trenton, New
Jersey for eight years. Mr. Beato is a graduate of the University of the
State of New York and has a Masters degree in Healthcare Administration
from Jersey City State University as well as being a Licensed Nursing
Home Administrator.
Edna Ramin-Zengerle, RN, BSN -Specializing in Department of
Health/CMS compliance, monitoring and education. Mrs. Zengerle’s
numerous years of experience as a Director of Nurses has given her the
edge in empathizing with the challenges faced on a day to day basis and
is well equipped to handle almost any issue. Mrs. Zengerle supports
organizations as a “Nurse Consultant” when facilities face regulatory
fines or are required to have a full time consultant in the facility.
Mrs. Zengerle will also assist organizations by developing a solid
preventative maintenance program through ongoing reviews and DOH/CMS
mock surveys to prevent such deficiencies. Mrs. Zengerle also has
experience in clinical program development, MDS, care planning, policy
and procedure development, PPS training and sub acute services. Mrs.
Zengerle has a Bachelors of Science in Nursing Degree from Colegio De
Santa Isabel, Naga City, Philippines.
Ann LaBoy, RN, CLNC - is a nurse consultant and certified legal
nurse consultant who has had a successful nursing career for over
twenty-five years. She has worked in the long-term care field since 1982
holding numerous administrative positions with the most recent being as
Director of Nursing. She has had prior experience in facility start up
operations, Joint Commission Accreditation and Dementia Unit
Certification. She specializes in DOH/CMS regulations, HIPAA regulations
and documentation. She offers facilities assistance with mock surveys,
staff education, medical record review and ongoing quality improvement
programs. Mrs. LaBoy provides support to organizations when a full time
consultant is required. Mrs. LaBoy can also assist with the facility
plan of correction, ongoing auditing and recommendations to improve
facility risk management programs. She is a published author and speaker
whose experience and training have afforded her an excellent reputation
in the long-term care field. Mrs. LaBoy graduated from Ocean County
College with an Associate Degree in Applied Science and has received
certification as a legal nurse consultant. She is a current member of
the National Alliance of Certified Legal Nurse Consultants. |
